The Victoria ISD Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Irene Schultz as the new Chandler Elementary Principal for the 2023-24 school year. Ms. Schultz brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to educational excellence, making her the ideal candidate to lead this campus.
With a career spanning over a decade in the field of education, Ms. Schultz has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a passion for student success. Her extensive background as an elementary teacher, interventionist, instructional specialist, and most recently as MTSS/TIER Project Lead and Education Specialist makes her well-suited to guide Chandler Elementary in its pursuit of academic excellence and the development of its students. She is deeply committed to creating a supportive and inclusive school culture that nurtures the talents and strengths of each student, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth.

As principal, Ms. Schultz will work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to provide leadership and ensure high standards. She will also be responsible for overseeing campus initiatives, the success of instructional programs, and operating all campus activities.
